2017 has already been an amazing year for the company with the release of hit web series like LIT and Dirty Talk, as well as a new season of Living 4 The Weekend. Check out promotional posters and trailers for the new series below:

We are not sure what the new series are about, but if we had to surmise we definitely think Twenty20 is a coming of age story. We all have those wild stories from our twenties where we lived some of our most memorable, exciting, yet trying years. As for House Boys, the synopsis may very well be in the title. This series may discuss and portray the inner workings of a gay house/family, from LGBT Ball culture. From what we have seen first hand from that scene the story line will have to be riveting, juicy, surprising, and most of all intense.

We are happy to see a few familiar faces among the cast in Rocc, Alex Jante, Sherrod Willis, Ryan “Rah Rah” Kennedy, Kalup Woodley, and Gio; as well as one familiar blast from our personal past, Channing Harral. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available. [REVIEW] SEX, Suspense, & Surreality! Tyson Anthony’s (@authortysona) “Honest Men” Already Delivers in Season 2!

If the formula works don’t fix it–that’s what we always say! Clearly, Tyson Anthony has found a formula that works for him with his critically acclaimed and award-winning series, Honest Men!
Starring Tripp Ali, Donta Hensley, King David, and now Gary Lavard, the series is back with second season and we could not be happier! The second season premiere begins the week after Mark (Donta Hensley), Colby (King David), and JT’s (Tripp Ali) menage a trois (threesome) and not much has changed for Colby and JT. Mark, however, finds himself “incapacitated” for the time.

JT still struggles with his porn addiction and hallucinations, while Colby reconnects with one of his “best friends” in a special way, much to the latter’s dismay. I n fact Colby’s enticing ways have fully evolved into someone who loves being the object of everyone else’s desire which may erupt into a very messy and explosive “love hexagon” when Solo (Devon Toran), Andre (Gary Lavard), and Ryan (Corey Wade). Then there’s the appearance of two new characters played by Christopher Deloatch and Shawn Deon.

Although this is only the first episode of the season, flashback scenes still show us that deep down inside JT still wishes to reconnect with his son. His current demons may prohibit that, but his and Colby’s desire to make amends with and come to an understanding with the men they are related is easily the deeper story line to delve into. Only in Honest Men does the Web World dare to explore the complexities of gay men who happen to be fathers and wayward sons trying to find their way through manhood. Tyson you never fail to deliver a story that both entices us and makes us think. Depth people! There is definitely more to stories about the community than hard bodies and boys wanting what they cannot have.

Be sure you subscribe to TysonPlus by clicking here. There are more new episodes of Honest Men coming soon and a spin-off, Honest Men: Devil’s Den! Check out the teaser trailer below!

Alex Jante

As we previously reported Alex has delivered the Web World’s first supernatural thriller rooted with some real sentiments. The series centers around Demetrius (Alex Jante) a man diagnosed with VIC, a sexually transmitted disease that gives its victims vampiric traits and tendencies including biting, pheromones, fangs, and a powerful urge to engage in “nocturnal activities.”

Demetrius finds it hard to date and find love when he suffers from a disease that makes him seem like a monster. However, finding a boyfriend may be the least of his worries when there’s a serial killer on the loose. You will just have to tune in to see how this all plays out!

We have to say we love this new web series, and not just because of its subject matter, but “the fresh blood”–we mean new faces–it brings to the game. Honestly, the casts of many web series have become monotonous where you see the same Web Stars in different series, often typecast in the same roles–NO SHADE, JUST FACTS.

However, as we have mentioned before Alex, like Issa Rae (Insecure, Him or Her) simply “reached across the table” to his family, friends, and boyfriend to make this series happen. The acting is good, the delivery is great, and we got to see a few familiar faces–namely Brandon Karson–like we’ve never seen them before. We also have to add you will absolutley LOVE the soundtrack of the series. Clearly someone took a page from Lyrik London and made the music match the mood.

Thanks to Mr. Jante, we were able to see the first two episodes of the series and now we are truly smitten and ready to see how all of this goes down. You’ve done some really dope work Alex, you and your crew rock! You all just be sure to tune in on Monday, April 23rd! Happy Viewing!

Web Star and writer, Alex Jante definitely has our attention with his own original web series, The Unanointed!

Web Star and writer, Alex Jante definitely has our attention with his own original web series, The Unanointed!

alex jante the unanointed

The Unanointed centers on “Demetrius” (Alex Jante) a man suffering from VIC, a mysterious, supernatural STD that has for all intents and purposes made him a vampire! VIC not only turns humans into vampires, but has become an epidemic as there are no contraceptives that prevent its passage from one person to another. As you can see, the series is marked by some social commentary, but does so through a fantastic supernatural filter.

The series stars Alex, but there are a (FINALLY) some new faces, Christian Emile Dacus, Lyndon Chivers, and Lisa Hope; and a few familiar ones like Cardo Wanzer and Brandon Karson. Alex took Issa Rae’s approach and “reached across the table” to complete his series by enlisting the time and talents of his boyfriend and friends.

The Unanointed may be Alex’s first web series, but it is not the first time he has had a hand in writing a series. In fact, this amazing man has written episodes of About Him: The Revolution, Tex Brown, Climax, Uncle Joey, Kingdom Heights and Steel River: When We Were Young, and most recently the first Black LGBT horror film, The Get Away!

We are here for Alex’s latest venture and are sure it will be hit! You all just be sure to tune in the moment it drops. Currently there’s no set date for the series premiere, but it will be this Spring. Follow the series on Instagram @theunanointedseries and check back here for more news! Congratulations Alex this is huge!
