The second episode of Season 2 of Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and Have Nots” heats up! Wyatt Cryer is now officially a murderer, after accidentally hitting and killing a little girl while high on heroine. He is abruptly wakened by Jim the next morning to find out that everything he’s done was no nightmare, but a wicked reality. Unfortunately he can’t remember what he did with the Black Sedan, revealed to be Jeffery’s car. Jim supplies him with an alibi, anf the two of them search frantically fo4 it. Naturally, Katherine and Jim disagree on how to deal with the situation. Surprisingly Katherine relents when she realizes this is a crisis more suited for Jim to deal with. Celine attempts to seduce Jim and demands money from him.

Meanwhile, Hannah awaits to hear news on Benny’s condition. She runs into his father, Tony, who informs her he wants to see their son. She warns him to stay away, only to later learn from a nurse of Tony ‘s imminent  kidney failure.  Hannah is asked by the pastor from the previous episode to join with them in search of Benny’s assailant. She declines, citing all her energy and attention are focused on her son and his well being.  After some difficulty she learns Benny might have  brain damage and that she should make funeral arrangements.

Jeffery awakes from his sleep to hear Amanda laughing in her room. When he questions her about it she vehemently denies it. Amanda is clearly mentally disturbed and informs him of her decision to sue her parents for her inheritance.  He warns her against it and inquires about her medicine.  She again finds him insulting. He leaves worried about her as she laughs again and begins coloring in a book. The next morning Jeffery warns Candice against helping Amanda go against the Cryers. She laughs it off.

Jim goes to his office to inform David of what’s going on, but is interrupted by their new campaign manager. She informs them of the media frenzy surrounding the double hit and run and that there are currently no leads, but they know the driver is a White male. After she leaves Jim informs David the car involved in the accident belongs to Jeffery. Furiously David warns Jim against trying to frame his son. Jim relents and apologizes, realizing Jeffery loves Wyatt due to their lifelong friendship. David initially assumes Jim is aware Jeffery is gay. David tries to reach his son to no avail–Veronica has cut his phone off, along with disowning him…

A disturbed Amanda stalks and loudly confronts her rapist outside his home. Then leaves furiously as he drives away. As you can see this episode more than delivered the drama. I can’t wait to see next week’s episode of Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and Have Nots!”

Stargirl is Courtney Whitmore, a teenage girl armed with “The Cosmic Staff” a weapon that allows her to manipulate and generate various forms of energy and fly. Aided by her stepfather, S.T.R.I.P.E., a former sidekick to the original Starman, she takes on crime and intergalactic threats.

Brec Bessinger as “Stargirl”

Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. The project focuses on the character that started executive producer Geoff Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister, who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion.

“There is no other character in comic books more special to me than Stargirl, and after searching far and wide I can say there is no other actor on the planet that embodies her more than Brec Bassinger,” said Johns back when the series was announced. “Brec’s warmth, strength, humor and positive energy are core to who Courtney Whitmore is. I’m so grateful she’s signed on for the role.”

We are here for this Stargirl series. She is one DC Comics more obscure heroines, but is nonetheless a powerhouse. She definitely fits in with The CW’s demography and we can see this being a true hit. What do you guys think of this new superhero series? Will you be watching? It looks like Bravo’s “The Real Houswives” Franchise is about to expand a little further! Just when we thought there were not going to be any new cities joining the mayhem of these reality shows it looks like Salt Lake City, Utah is about to get its own set of “Real Housewives.”

The announcement about “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” took place this past weekend at Bravo Con, a convention hosted by Bravo TV that allows fans to meet, greet, and interact with their favorite Real Housewives from various franchises in addition to other series on the network. From Atlanta, we know Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, and Cynthia Bailey were all in attendance.

“‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ takes viewers into an undiscovered world that is about so much more than religion, although the (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is undeniably engrained in the culture. In the majestic mountains of Utah is a hidden social circle made up of successful women who have created their own paradise filled with luxury homes, shopping sprees and multi-million-dollar businesses and brands. With Hollywood’s exclusive Sundance Film Festival in their backyards, these Type-A power-brokers are accustomed to rubbing elbows with A-listers and what party list you are on means everything. They have mastered running wildly successful enterprises by day and enjoy après ski at the finest resorts by night, all the while raising extraordinary and unconventional families. Here perfection is not an aspiration, it’s a mandate. They hold themselves and each other to an extremely high standard and never hold back when things go sideways, but lord knows they are always there for each other when they need it most.”

There has not been any casting news for the series, but we are hoping it will be good. We are sure, however, the cast will be mostly Caucasian and somewhat Mormon due to the demography of the area. We also hope the newest installment is a hit, as you may know “Real Housewives of Washington, D.C.” failed monumentally, lasting just one season. Perhaps it is time they recast that and try again, there have to be some amazing women to showcase there. We digress.

We will keep you posted as more about “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” comes to light.

Moody, dark, unnatural, and magical! Disney’s “Gargoyles” was one of the memorable series of the late nineties. The series centered on a clan of the creatures, led by their leader, Goliath, who were betrayed by their human allies and frozen in stone by a magical spell for 1,000 years. Goliath and his surviving clan members awake to the modern age in Manhattan, New York City, discovering a world ruled by science and technology where gargoyles and magical creatures have become myths. The clan, with the help of their police detective friend, Elisa Maza, must learn to navigate their new world and most of all survive.

The creator of “Gargoyles,” Greg Weissman, has launched a petition for fans of the series to binge watch it on Disney+, in hopes it will be rebooted/revived in a similar manner to “Young Justice,” a hit animated series based on DC Comics’ superheroes hat was canceled on Cartoon Network, but was later revived by DC Online after high views on Netflix.

Greg noticed “Gargoyles” was trending on Twitter thanks to Disney+’s launch earlier this week and tweeted the following:

“Gargoyles” return would actually be amazing. The series is easily one of the most well-written animated series in history with its analogies of racism, genocide, family, and even interracial dating (as you may already know Elisa and Goliath end up together. However, Weisman revealed some years ago he wanted to expand the series into its own universe with multiple spin-offs including a prequel leading up to the Wyvern Massacre (when most of Goliath’s clan was smashed by a Viking), other set in the present centering on a few villains of the series seeking redemption (think Suicide Squad), and one set in the distant future where an alien race attacks Earth threatening humanity and gargoyles alike, and finally a continuation of the main story line with new gargoyles added to the clan (Brooklyn’s children, a new gargbeast, and the return of Coldstone and Coldfire).

We will definitely #KeepBingingGargoyles and hope you will do the same! Goliath and his comrades deserve a second chance with a new generation of viewers!
