Everything was not as poppin’ as it should be. First of all, we love Katy Perry dearly, but she should never again be allowed to host any awards show. She is corny, not  funny, and would have served better doing more performances last night to give the people a taste of what her upcoming tour will look like. Still, the performances saved the show. Kendrick Lamar was the superhero of performances last night visually, performing two of his hit singles, DNA and Humble. Check out his performance below!

Pink, the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, stayed true to her style and performed in the air–atop a convertible, albeit! Her medley of past hits definitely oozed with early 2000’s nostalgia. Still we wish she would have done some of her more historic hits like most Girls and Just Like A Pill. You can catch her acceptance speech below!

Other highlights of the night include Taylor Swift (even though she did not show up) debuting her new music video, Look What You Made Me Do; a true nod to the VMAs and consisting of past and present versions of herself.

We love how Nicki Minaj finally jumped in on a performance when she and Katy did Swish Swish. We definitely think it’s time for the former to debut a new album though, some of these other female rappers are “Making money moves!”

The night was full of amazement and we want to congratulate all the winners! Check them out on the next page!

The first season is already off to a spicy start and we have a few clips to share with you! Check them out below ahead of this Saturday’s latest episode:

(P) Saturday, March 21 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode: All Buttoned Up

Spirit tries to help Breyon and Sundy through some of the difficulty facing their relationship. Breyon struggles to come to grips with the idea of ending things with his other girlfriends, but Sundy’s hardened exterior makes it hard for him to fully commit.

Breyon Brings Receipts To The Therapy Session | Love Goals | Oprah Winfrey Network

We have to say we are really rooting for all of these couples. We recently had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Dwayne and Theresa Bowe, and we are convinced Spirit is working some magic over there. This series is definitely off to a fiery start. From the looks of it Sundy and Breyon have a lot to sort through. Sundy’s stance is a bit tough, but we have to admit the infidelity on Breyon’s part seems intolerable. Multiple girlfriends?  Theresa and Spinderella seem to be bonding and relate well to each other. They definitely seem to have it more “together” than some of the other ladies involved in the show.

You all just be sure to check out “Love Goals” this Saturday night only on OWN, at 9/8 PM EST, check your local listing for showtimes.

“Tyler Perry’s Ruthless” is executive produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed will also serve as Executive Producer of the series for Tyler Perry Studios.

We have to say Tyler Perry is really making moves in 2020 with all of his new series and films being released. He is the epitome of “Never Not Working,” as we like to say on our various social media accounts. “Ruthless” definitely deserves a chance! We definitely want to learn more about this cult Ruth is a part and how, or if, she and her daughter can be liberated from it. Furthermore, how will this affect the story lines of “The Oval” at large?

The Baby-Sitters Club

Ann M. Martin, the beloved series author and producer on the new series, was the first to conceive the idea of these inspiring young girls with different backgrounds, personalities and opinions that were brought together by a business venture they conceived and bonded through the friendships they forged. The adaptation of the contemporary dramedy that continues to champion friendship, female empowerment and entrepreneurship was led by Rachel Shukert (Glow) as showrunner and Lucia Aniello (Broad City) as executive producer and director.

We are really excited about the release of “The Babysitter’s Club!” Growing up it was one of our favorite books to read in grade school. Netflix has been running low on family friendly shows as of late with the surprising cancellation of popular series like Fuller House and One Day At A Time. This reboot, hopefully, will be as heartwarming as the book and the series from 1990; but updated for a new generation!
