Multi-platinum recording group, Dru Hill, is proud to announce the upcoming release of their first full Christmas EP, Christmas in Baltimore!

The 8-track project was produced by Grammy award-winning writer/producer Troy Taylor of Songbook Entertainment on their signature label, Dru Hill Entertainment, and is being distributed by Empire Distribution.

Highly anticipated, Christmas in Baltimore marks Dru Hill’s fifth studio project and its first with Empire. It precedes another brand new studio album to be released in 2018. For the EP, Taylor and the super-soulful vocalists of Dru Hill have come together to give fans Christmas like they’ve never heard it before! From the classic “Silent Night” to the modern and slightly explicit “Tis the Season,” it’s literally an album you’ll have to download to believe.

“We’ve always wanted to do a Christmas album, and we knew our fans have been waiting,” says the group, “This year, it just all came together and we decided to invite everybody in for that authentic Baltimore holiday experience…you won’t find another Christmas album like this, we guarantee it.”

A snippet of its first radio single, “Favorite Time of the Year” was released on the group’s official Instagram page on November 10th to rave reviews. Fans have been waiting eagerly since the teaser and were finally able to bring the long awaited music home with their November 24th release.

Comprised of members Tamir “Nokio” Ruffin, Mark “SisQo” Andrews, Larry “Jazz” Anthony, and Antwuan “Tao” Simpson, Dru Hill first rose to fame in 1996 with their debut single, “Tell Me” and they only add to their legendary music library with Christmas in Baltimore after boasting some of the biggest selling R&B songs of all time, including “5 steps”, “In My Bed”, “Never Make a Promise”, “How Deep Is Your Love”, “These are the Times”, and “We’re Not Making Love No More”. In a career that has spanned two decades, they have sold over 40 million records worldwide.

As they gear up to celebrate Christmas with their fans, they also have more exciting surprises in store for 2018!! A new album is on the horizon.

Martel Star has now released a new music video for his single, Hungry, from his forthcoming album debuting the first quarter of this year and we have to say it awesome.

Hungry” is a rap cover remix, originally performed by Fergie. Martel adds his on ratchet-pop flair to the track & showcases his confident persona. In the dark video, Martel let’s his confidence shine, while letting the competition know that he’s here to stay. Both in bars & choreo, the competing rappers aren’t quite ok the same level.

This is very well put together, shout out to Jamee Cornelia! Perhaps, we should hit him about a personal project! We have known Martel for a couple of years now and are really pleased to see things coming together for him. His style seems very Eminem meets 21 Savage! He is clearly stating he is one of the best and we are dying to see him become just that. What do you guys think of the Hungry music video? Sound off in our comments section below!

Provident Label Group/Sony Music Entertainment artist Tauren Wells has had quite a memorable year.

From touring with Lionel Richie, to releasing his debut solo full-length Hills and Valleys, and the tremendous success of the album’s self-titled debut single, Wells is wrapping up his 2017 by receiving two GRAMMY® nominations. Recognized for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (Hills and Valleys) and his single “Hills and Valleys” for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song (which he co-wrote with Chuck Butler and Jonathan Smith), Wells is no stranger to the GRAMMY Awards® as he was nominated in both 2011 and 2014 with his former band Royal Tailor.

The double GRAMMY recognition encapsulates the success of Tauren Wells’ past year, which kicked off with his song “Undefeated” (from his 2016 solo EP of the same name) getting licensed by Fox Sports and played during NBA coverage.

Wells released his debut LP, Hills and Valleys, in June, which was highly received by critics and calling it “contagious,” “energetic,” and an album that “takes listeners from quiet moments of encouragement to a strong, fast-paced, energetic celebration of Christ’s goodness and faithfulness.” Hills and Valleys also made a successful first week appearance on the SoundScan Christian/Gospel Digital Albums chart at No. 3.

The hit single “Hills and Valleys” was one of the most streamed Christian songs of 2017, according to Spotify. Along with featuring Tauren Wells as the cover artist, Spotify also placed the song as the first track on their Top Christian Hits of 2017 playlist.

The song was also chosen as one of K-LOVE’s top performing songs of the year. The network shares that Tauren Wells is “One of the fastest rising stars in Christian music” and “’Hills and Valleys’ is a special song that showcases the singer’s range, but it’s far from his only hit.”

Additionally, the music video for “Hills and Valleys” has had an astounding 12.7 million views to date. His latest music video, for “When We Pray,” is already close to a million views and can be viewed here and below.

On the heels of his album’s release, Wells began the summer energizing large audiences across the U.S. as the opening act for Lionel Richie’s All The Hits Tour with special guest Mariah Carey. The 22-city tour hit the country’s most renowned venues, from Madison Square Garden in New York City, American Airlines Center in Dallas, and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Wells also appeared on numerous morning and afternoon TV shows in some of the biggest markets promoting his music and the tour such as Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles.

Wells also performed at two of industry’s biggest annual events this past year – the K-LOVE Fan Awards and the GMA Dove Awards – before he joined the Air1 Positive Hits Tour in the fall, which took him to more than 30 markets coast to coast.

With 2017 being such an astounding year for Wells, what does his 2018 hold? It will kick off with the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards® on Sunday, January 28, 2018 and held live at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He will then join Chris Tomlin’s annual concert event Worship Night In America, which kicks off in April.

New Music Alert! Check Out “The Oracle,” Mase’s Diss Song Against Cam’ron (@Mr_Camron) AND Cam’ron’s Clapback!

It has been awhile since any male rappers had a good beef with one another. Lately it seems the beefs have been between Nicki Minaj and her rivals (or haters if you’re one of her Kenz), Remy Ma, Cardi B, and Lil Kim.

Well two rappers who we consider true blasts from the past, Ma$e and Cam’ron are apparently beefing, with the former releasing a diss track entitled The Oracle

It has been awhile since any male rappers had a good beef with one another. Lately it seems the beefs have been between Nicki Minaj and her rivals (or haters if you’re one of her Kenz), Remy Ma, Cardi B, and Lil Kim.

Well two rappers who we consider true blasts from the past, Ma$e and Cam’ron are apparently beefing, with the former releasing a diss track entitled The Oracle!

We are not sure what events prompted Ma$e to drop the track on Black Friday morning, but check out a few lyrics from the track below:

mase and cam'ron

“Ever since 10 you was a thirst n***a/And I ain’t gone talk about the time you fuck your sister”

“You always play the sucker part/Where was all that Rico shit when you left Jim in Rucker Park?”

“I’m the pretty n***a, wrist litty, sunwear/Diplomat only meaning that you ain’t from here/You had a run here but y’all n***as is done here/All these pretty women and y’all n***as bringing guns here/You way pass the gun line/Every time you talk of me you sound like one time”

“I know you need money I get it/I know your digital sells I know about your digits I know Sony Red don’t want to see your shit distribute/I know it’s crickets so fuck it use my name so they can click it/I made you, I raised you, why would I play you/When you dealing with this power n***a Flex can’t save you”

“Now you can tell Dave East, ASAP Mob whatever you want/The whole hood know I’m the origin”

“Any n***a ever got diplomatic immunity was n***as who ratted/Or wanna snitch on their community”

Listen to the entire song below:

Cam’ron you have got some explaining to do! He definitely had to respond to this as Ma$e has pretty much called him broke and accused of him being a rat–not a good look or reputation to have in the rap world. Cam’ron surprisingly clapped back with an Instagram post:

via Hotnewhiphop.com

Cam’ron hasn’t really been one to utter threats publicly or anything like that unless necessary. However, Cam is definitely one of the best at roasting in the rap game. After hearing Mase’s diss track towards him, Cam’Ron took to Instagram to post a picture of Pastor Mase holding a bible in front of the Roxy with the caption, “Good morning to u to betha…lol, Let’s play nigga..” There’s no saying what might end up happening in the beef but it could pretty much be assumed that there’s definitely going to be one or two memorable hip hop beef moments throughout it all.

Good morning to u to betha…lol, Let's play nigga.. 😘

We would have preferred he released a diss track of his own, but this clap back is hella funny! We’ll keep you posted!
