When you think of the name Jasmine V, don’t just think she was Justin Bieber’s girlfriend back in 2012 – please note that she was in  the spotlight way before Justin hit the scene.

Jasmine’s first acting job was acting in a commercial for the animated feature “The Land Before Time IX” and her first professional singing gig was performing the national anthem for the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team back when she was just eleven years old. As of 2013, Jasmine V has signed to Interscope Records and on November 10, 2014, her debut EP, ‘That’s Me Right There’ was released.

Lil Mosey first garnered serious attention when his single, “Pull Up” went viral at the top of 2018. With a prime feature on the popular site, Elevator, fans quickly flocked to the 16-year-old emcee’s SoundCloud for more of his laidback, trippy style. This year alone, Lil Mosey has played SXSW, Rolling Loud and toured alongside Smokepurpp. He also made a recent appearance at New York Fashion Week. With an active social media following, the artist has become known for his bold and outspoken personality, leaving fans hanging onto his every word.

[VIDEO] The Dopest Animated Promo! Check Out “Ye vs. The People!”

Kanye West has definitely become one of the most controversial people on the planet. Whereas we loved him for his crazy style and bravado, nowadays people–especially Black people–have mixed feelings about him following his commentary on slavery, basically stating it was a choice. One of the opponents to his thoughts and point of view has been none other than the self-proclaimed, “King of The South,” TI.

Interestingly, most people have not been hip to the buzz that Kanye West and TI dropped a single called Ye vs. The People,  where both of the rappers presented their sides of the argument, with TI being the self-appointed “Voice of The People.” Producer, Cory Mo, and animator, Cartoon Buck, released an animated music video for the single and we LOVE it!

The video really captivates both sides of the argument and perhaps is how a real rap debate should go–where people actually listen to each others’ sides and agree to disagree. We met Cory Mo, through author, screenwriter, and producer, Kimberly Jones (About Him, About Her). “Me and my partner did an animated video for Big Boi’s single he dropped about six months ago, the one by Big Boi, Gucci, and Pimp C [“In The South”]. When that song came out I felt the message was just so dope that we had to go with this song. We haven’t really presented to them, but we did it to let them know we do animated videos.”Cory Mo reveals.

Surprisingly Corey Mo remains mostly neutral when it comes to taking sides, seeing validity in both of their arguments. “I’m not necessarily on either side. I understand TI 100%, but Kanye isn’t really saying anything malicious. They both have valid points. He’s just fucked up, wearing that maggot hat thinking he’s going to change people…I felt its a dope ass message and people need to see the shit. Me and my boy, [Cartoon] Buck, are just with it and trying to put our footprint on the thing.”

Cory Mo and Cartoon Buck are super talented and we are really hoping this animated music video goes viral! Check out their other aforementioned video below, In The South! Happy viewing!

When it comes to who’s poppin’ right now Rahim Brazil sits near the top of our list with two hit web series, Twisted and Cheaterz Never Win, he has created and now his long awaited return to music with a promo video for his forthcoming album entitled Elevated.

The promo video looks pretty amazing and leaves us wondering what we can expect from Elevated. We know Rahim is an awesome rapper and even more amazing performer. We got to see him up close and personal at Twisted star, Martel Star’s album release party for Emerald City. HE WENT IN!

rahim brazil

The grapevine has told us that Rahim may have some collaborations with not only Martel Star, but November as well. Another circulating rumor is he is interested in working with another Web Star turned artist, Kvng David. We have to admit a collaboration between these two would be epic, but the song we heard at Martel’s aforementioned release party, Go Off, would be LIT. Maybe if we mix Eli Liberty in there somewhere too…hmmm… Honestly we would love to see him release a ballad somewhere on his new album. We first fell for Rahim’s music after hearing him sing on Facebook Live late 2016. (Rahim–hint, hint!)

Rahim Brazil proves yet again that he is living fire, and there really is nothing he cannot do. Check back here for updates on Elevated and a review. You can also catch our boy as he returns back in front of the camera in Twisted 2 this fall! Congrats on EVERYTHING Rahim, we expect nothing but GREATNESS from you!

What do you all think of Rahim’s newest venture? Sound off in the comments’ section below! Happy viewing and future listening!
