Multiplatinum Memphis rapper and CMG mogul Yo Gotti unleashes his brand new album, I Still Am [CMG/Epic Records], in stores and at all digital retailers today.

Get it at this link. Upon going live at midnight, the record catapulted to the Top 11 of the iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart and Top 3 of the Top Hip-Hop/Rap Albums Chart where it continues to hold strong.

This past week has been momentous for Gotti. Just last night, he hosted an exclusive Tidal screening for his documentary I Still Am and listening party in New York City. Tastemakers, fellow artists, and celebrities gathered for the event to watch this revealing powerhouse film unfold and hear the record for the very first time. Check out the documentary HERE In addition, he guested on The Breakfast Club for a detailed interview about everything in his world and so much more.

I Still Am sees Gotti reach a new level. Firmly carving out his place amongst rap’s elite, he delivers his most potent, profound, and powerful body of work to date. Among its stacked tracklisting, the platinum-certified smash “Rake It Up” [feat. Nicki Minaj] introduced this collection followed by “Juice”—which saw him re-team with his “Down In The DM” collaborator producer Ben Billions for another banger. He practically burns through the speaker on the one-two opening punch of “Betrayal” and “Back Gate. “Save It For Me” [feat. Chris Brown Meek Mill] remains an event in and of itself, and “One on One” [feat. Meek Mill & YFN Lucci] unites a trio of the game’s hottest rappers. “Don’t Wanna Go Back” might be his most introspective cut yet, while “Around the World” closes out the record with a bang. The full tracklisting can be found below.

Simultaneously, Gotti has risen through the ranks as a bona fide cultural force in his own right. He just inked an exclusive deal with Puma where he will work with the brand on several programs and exciting product collaborations, many of which will be inspired by styles that have been not only iconic to Puma, but to Yo Gotti himself.

In addition, he has joined forces with Monster products to bring better sound and an elevated listening experience to music fans everywhere. As part of Monster’s alliance with the multi-platinum superstar, Yo Gotti will be creating “The Sound of Yo Gotti,” including a special VIP website that will highlight specially designated Monster products chosen by Yo Gotti to bring fans new ways to experience the very best audio quality possible.

Expect him everywhere in 2018 as he rightfully accepts the crown.

After quietly and passionately grinding for over 15 years, Yo Gotti’s hustle paid off big time in 2016. His fifth full-length album, The Art of Hustle [CMG/Epic Records], captured #4 on the Billboard Top 200, marking his highest chart bow yet. It spawned the platinum-selling smash “Down In The DM,” which not only dominated radio, but it even entered the modern lexicon as a popular phrase! In between TV performances and appearances on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!The Real, and BET, he played to sold out crowds every night on The Endless Summer Tour with G-EazyLogic, and YG all summer long. He capped the year off with the explosive White Friday. 2017 saw him light up the road with Meek Mill and turn up with another smash “Rake It Up” [feat. Nicki Minaj].

Why Can’t We Just Accept Summer Walker (@summerwalker)?

Why can’t we be who we are without everyone comparing and judging? Summer Walker isn’t your typical artist filled with roses and daises. She is however one-of-a-kind and should be treated as such. Let the music speak for itself!

Summer Walker Over It

Why can’t we be who we are without everyone comparing and judging? Summer Walker isn’t your typical artist filled with roses and daises. She is however one-of-a-kind and should be treated as such. Let the music speak for itself!

The controversy surrounding Summer Walker is baffling yet confusing.  I can’t help but feel like if she was a man her “personality deficiencies” would be praised. I can’t believe in 2019 people still won’t accept folks for who they are. Exhibit A: the video above showcases Walker’s performance on NPR’s Music Tiny Desk. I can not tell you how many people were turned off by this performance. Saying things like “this is why I can’t get with this new generation of artist” or “she look like she don’t wanna be there” … is that what we’re doing now? This young woman is 23 years old … why are we so quick to judge.

Summer Walker

I’m starting to think that the concerned are just jealous. Summer Walker’s ‘Over It’ Album broke Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ Streaming Record. Summer Walker is making a lot of noise! & Her debut album, Over It, dropped on Oct. 4th and is the largest debut album from a female R&B artist for 10 years. She’s not Beyonce or any other artist, she’s just herself. We should just listen to her album and get to know her … because she isn’t going to give it you in her interviews. LOL

Hahaha this is partially why I love her. I love her dryness. I love how blunt she is. She is a whole mood. Every artist isn’t going to be smiling from ear to ear, eager to be in front of people all the time. Oh and by the way I don’t believe she is retiring so we can kill that story line.

ALBUM REVIEW

‘Over It’

This album is soooooo damn good. Most people I’ve talked to love it as well while others think she’s a one trick pony with limited range. I couldn’t care less about all of that … from beginning to end this album is the perfect introduction to who Summer Walker actually is. She’s a straight shooter! Her music is empowering and leaves no room for questions. From ‘Come Thru’ to ‘Potential’ listening to Over It will get you in your feelings but also make you call up your ex for a late night session.

Enjoy!

It comes more than 40 years after their fathers–country music icons Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings–recorded their cover of the song, which hit No. 1 on the country music charts and won a GRAMMY®.

Fans that pre-order The Ranch (A Netflix Original Series Official Soundtrack) will receive a download of the Lee Brice song, “Rumor (Glover Mix)” on December 20.
