It has been awhile since any male rappers had a good beef with one another. Lately it seems the beefs have been between Nicki Minaj and her rivals (or haters if you’re one of her Kenz), Remy Ma, Cardi B, and Lil Kim.

Well two rappers who we consider true blasts from the past, Ma$e and Cam’ron are apparently beefing, with the former releasing a diss track entitled The Oracle!

We are not sure what events prompted Ma$e to drop the track on Black Friday morning, but check out a few lyrics from the track below:

mase and cam'ron

“Ever since 10 you was a thirst n***a/And I ain’t gone talk about the time you fuck your sister”

“You always play the sucker part/Where was all that Rico shit when you left Jim in Rucker Park?”

“I’m the pretty n***a, wrist litty, sunwear/Diplomat only meaning that you ain’t from here/You had a run here but y’all n***as is done here/All these pretty women and y’all n***as bringing guns here/You way pass the gun line/Every time you talk of me you sound like one time”

“I know you need money I get it/I know your digital sells I know about your digits I know Sony Red don’t want to see your shit distribute/I know it’s crickets so fuck it use my name so they can click it/I made you, I raised you, why would I play you/When you dealing with this power n***a Flex can’t save you”

“Now you can tell Dave East, ASAP Mob whatever you want/The whole hood know I’m the origin”

“Any n***a ever got diplomatic immunity was n***as who ratted/Or wanna snitch on their community”

Listen to the entire song below:

Cam’ron you have got some explaining to do! He definitely had to respond to this as Ma$e has pretty much called him broke and accused of him being a rat–not a good look or reputation to have in the rap world. Cam’ron surprisingly clapped back with an Instagram post:

via Hotnewhiphop.com

Cam’ron hasn’t really been one to utter threats publicly or anything like that unless necessary. However, Cam is definitely one of the best at roasting in the rap game. After hearing Mase’s diss track towards him, Cam’Ron took to Instagram to post a picture of Pastor Mase holding a bible in front of the Roxy with the caption, “Good morning to u to betha…lol, Let’s play nigga..” There’s no saying what might end up happening in the beef but it could pretty much be assumed that there’s definitely going to be one or two memorable hip hop beef moments throughout it all.

We would have preferred he released a diss track of his own, but this clap back is hella funny! We’ll keep you posted!

Why Can’t We Just Accept Summer Walker (@summerwalker)?

Why can’t we be who we are without everyone comparing and judging? Summer Walker isn’t your typical artist filled with roses and daises. She is however one-of-a-kind and should be treated as such. Let the music speak for itself!

Summer Walker Over It

Why can’t we be who we are without everyone comparing and judging? Summer Walker isn’t your typical artist filled with roses and daises. She is however one-of-a-kind and should be treated as such. Let the music speak for itself!

The controversy surrounding Summer Walker is baffling yet confusing.  I can’t help but feel like if she was a man her “personality deficiencies” would be praised. I can’t believe in 2019 people still won’t accept folks for who they are. Exhibit A: the video above showcases Walker’s performance on NPR’s Music Tiny Desk. I can not tell you how many people were turned off by this performance. Saying things like “this is why I can’t get with this new generation of artist” or “she look like she don’t wanna be there” … is that what we’re doing now? This young woman is 23 years old … why are we so quick to judge.

Summer Walker

I’m starting to think that the concerned are just jealous. Summer Walker’s ‘Over It’ Album broke Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ Streaming Record. Summer Walker is making a lot of noise! & Her debut album, Over It, dropped on Oct. 4th and is the largest debut album from a female R&B artist for 10 years. She’s not Beyonce or any other artist, she’s just herself. We should just listen to her album and get to know her … because she isn’t going to give it you in her interviews. LOL

Hahaha this is partially why I love her. I love her dryness. I love how blunt she is. She is a whole mood. Every artist isn’t going to be smiling from ear to ear, eager to be in front of people all the time. Oh and by the way I don’t believe she is retiring so we can kill that story line.

ALBUM REVIEW

‘Over It’

This album is soooooo damn good. Most people I’ve talked to love it as well while others think she’s a one trick pony with limited range. I couldn’t care less about all of that … from beginning to end this album is the perfect introduction to who Summer Walker actually is. She’s a straight shooter! Her music is empowering and leaves no room for questions. From ‘Come Thru’ to ‘Potential’ listening to Over It will get you in your feelings but also make you call up your ex for a late night session.

Enjoy!

It comes more than 40 years after their fathers–country music icons Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings–recorded their cover of the song, which hit No. 1 on the country music charts and won a GRAMMY®.

Fans that pre-order The Ranch (A Netflix Original Series Official Soundtrack) will receive a download of the Lee Brice song, “Rumor (Glover Mix)” on December 20.
