The wait is over! After blessing fans with a catalogue of hit singles, OG 3Three is set to release his long-awaited mixtape All Eyes on 3 this Friday  on all streaming platforms. Executive produced by Cortez Bryantand Courtlyn Victorian and paying homage to the life and legacy of late great rapper Tupac Shakur, OG 3Three provides a vivid portrayal of the bloody bayou city Baton Rouge from the frontlines.

With only one feature guest appearance by NBA YoungboyAll Eyes on 3 is fueled by a bevy of street-certified hits. OG 3 Three sets off a musical movement that can’t be denied. Continuing the ongoing saga of the sizzling hot rap collective NBA or (Never Broke Again) initiated alongside his brother NBA Youngboy, this Baton Rouge good guy has raised a grassroots fan base from the ground up.

While the spotlight has been fixated on YoungBoy of the Never Broke Again (NBA) crew this past year, it looks as though 2018 will usher in a new focus on other members of the set, and kicking things off is NBA OG 3Three as he delivers on the cinematic visuals “Burn Notice”. The mixtape’s lead track was released a few weeks ago, full of special effects directed by OrbitzDidIt. This sizzling hot mid-tempo produced track is a message to the streets sets the tone for the anticipated mixtape.  Watch the “Burn Notice” HERE

Throughout the mixtape, he explores his life with graphic descriptions. The subject content on the album chronicles the social chaos from police brutality as expressed within the lyrics of “Burn Notice” – and overall trajectory. This mixtape describes the personal effects of love with his dream girl, pain from death of losing a friend and the controversy living within the tumultuous city of Baton Rouge and other beleaguered communities. This latest project is the precursor to what OG 3Three has in store and the reasoning behind his rapidly growing fan base with his back to back video releases. On his debut mixtape, OG 3Three says, “I plan to leave a scar on the game by telling the untold story of me”

Why Can’t We Just Accept Summer Walker (@summerwalker)?

Why can’t we be who we are without everyone comparing and judging? Summer Walker isn’t your typical artist filled with roses and daises. She is however one-of-a-kind and should be treated as such. Let the music speak for itself!

Summer Walker Over It

Why can’t we be who we are without everyone comparing and judging? Summer Walker isn’t your typical artist filled with roses and daises. She is however one-of-a-kind and should be treated as such. Let the music speak for itself!

The controversy surrounding Summer Walker is baffling yet confusing.  I can’t help but feel like if she was a man her “personality deficiencies” would be praised. I can’t believe in 2019 people still won’t accept folks for who they are. Exhibit A: the video above showcases Walker’s performance on NPR’s Music Tiny Desk. I can not tell you how many people were turned off by this performance. Saying things like “this is why I can’t get with this new generation of artist” or “she look like she don’t wanna be there” … is that what we’re doing now? This young woman is 23 years old … why are we so quick to judge.

Summer Walker

I’m starting to think that the concerned are just jealous. Summer Walker’s ‘Over It’ Album broke Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ Streaming Record. Summer Walker is making a lot of noise! & Her debut album, Over It, dropped on Oct. 4th and is the largest debut album from a female R&B artist for 10 years. She’s not Beyonce or any other artist, she’s just herself. We should just listen to her album and get to know her … because she isn’t going to give it you in her interviews. LOL

Hahaha this is partially why I love her. I love her dryness. I love how blunt she is. She is a whole mood. Every artist isn’t going to be smiling from ear to ear, eager to be in front of people all the time. Oh and by the way I don’t believe she is retiring so we can kill that story line.

Summer Walker

ALBUM REVIEW

‘Over It’

This album is soooooo damn good. Most people I’ve talked to love it as well while others think she’s a one trick pony with limited range. I couldn’t care less about all of that … from beginning to end this album is the perfect introduction to who Summer Walker actually is. She’s a straight shooter! Her music is empowering and leaves no room for questions. From ‘Come Thru’ to ‘Potential’ listening to Over It will get you in your feelings but also make you call up your ex for a late night session.

Enjoy!
