Well, looks like Miguel was in the holiday spirit as he just released a 3-track EP simply titling it with the names of the songs: N.W.A.Hollywooddreams.Coffee.

It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from the sultry singer and even though this can be considered a tease, I’m going to try and be content.

In just three songs, however, Miguel blessed us with a bit of everything for the season. N.W.A gives you a bit of rough R&B as he collaborates with emcee Kurupt, describing that in life, every lady might want spend some time with a N.W.A. (I suggest if you’re lost, go touch up on your hip hop history). Then comes Hollywooddreams, which if  you can put aside the very engulfing beat, talks about how the dream of Hollywood for bright eyed aspiring novices can be quite a nightmare in reality. I love songs with a concrete story so this is my favorite. But he wouldn’t be Miguel if he didn’t do something sexy for those hot and heavy moments, which is where “Coffee” doesn’t disappoint. I won’t go too much into it, because it’s just 3 songs, so you can judge yourself. Does it sound like Miguel is prepared for 2015?

The show was hosted by James Corden, and although entertaining was politically charged. Celebrities like Kendrick Lamar, Camilla Cabello, Bono, Trevor Noah, Logic, and surprisingly, Hillary Clinton took on topics like DACA, gender equality, suicide, and of course Donald Trump. Kendrick Lamar opened the show with U2, performing his song XXX, in military-like clothing.

Camilla Cabello’s speaking up for Dreamers, immigrants who came to the U.S. as children but are in danger as adults of being deported. “I’m here on this stage tonight because, just like the Dreamers, my parents brought me to this country with nothing in their pockets but hope. They showed me what it means to work twice as hard and never give up. And, honestly, no part of my journey is any different from theirs. I’m a proud Cuban-Mexican immigrant, born in Eastern Havana, standing in front of you on the Grammys stage in New York City,” she said to applause from the crowd. “And all I know is, just like dreams, these kids can’t be forgotten and are worth fighting for.”

The performances of the night were nothing short of amazing with songs by Childish Gambino (Donald Glover), Ke$ha, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, SZA, Lady Gaga, U2, DJ Khaled, Rihanna, Elton John, Miley Cyrus, and more. The real winner of the night, however, was definitely Bruno Mars who won Grammys for Album of The Year, Song of The Year, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Album, and Best R&B Song! In his speech he thanked not only his family, but a few great writers and producers!

“Thank you so much. First off, to the other nominees in this category—LordeKendrick LamarJay-ZChildish Gambino—you are the reasons I’m in the studio pulling my hair out because I know you guys are only going to come with the top shelf artistry and music and thank you guys for blessing the world with your music. I mean that,” Bruno explained.

While he admitted to drinking and celebrating throughout the night, the “24K Magic” singer also wanted to share a story where he gave credit to the people who helped inspire such a special album.

“So I’m 15 years old and I’m opening up a show in Hawaii called the Magic of Polynesia….My job in that show was to entertain about 1,000 people, 1,000 tourists from all over the world. And I put together a set list like 10 to 12 songs and I will be honest, I was incredible at 15,” he joked. “And later on in life, I found out that those songs that I was singing were written by either Baby FaceJimmy Jam and Terry Lewis or Teddy Riley.”

Martel Star has now released a new music video for his single, Hungry, from his forthcoming album debuting the first quarter of this year and we have to say it awesome.

Hungry” is a rap cover remix, originally performed by Fergie. Martel adds his on ratchet-pop flair to the track & showcases his confident persona. In the dark video, Martel let’s his confidence shine, while letting the competition know that he’s here to stay. Both in bars & choreo, the competing rappers aren’t quite ok the same level.

This is very well put together, shout out to Jamee Cornelia! Perhaps, we should hit him about a personal project! We have known Martel for a couple of years now and are really pleased to see things coming together for him. His style seems very Eminem meets 21 Savage! He is clearly stating he is one of the best and we are dying to see him become just that. What do you guys think of the Hungry music video? Sound off in our comments section below!
