The main cast also includes Michael PenÞa (“The Martian, “Ant-Man”) and Navid Negahban (“American Sniper,” TV’s “Homeland”). “12 Strong” is set in the harrowing days following 9/11 when a U.S. Special Forces team, led by their new Captain, Mitch Nelson (Hemsworth), is chosen to be the first U.S. troops sent into Afghanistan for an extremely dangerous mission. There, in the rugged mountains, they must convince Northern Alliance General Dostum (Negahban) to join forces with them to fight their common adversary: the Taliban and their Al Qaeda allies. In addition to overcoming mutual distrust and a vast cultural divide, the Americans—accustomed to state-of-the-art warfare—must adopt the rudimentary tactics of the Afghani horse soldiers. But despite their uneasy bond, the new allies face overwhelming odds: outnumbered and outgunned by a ruthless enemy that does not take prisoners.

The behind-the-scenes team included director of photography Rasmus Videbaek (“A Royal Affair”), production designer Christopher Glass (“The Jungle Book”), editor Lisa Lassek (“The Avengers,” “The Avengers: Age of Ultron”), costume designer Daniel J. Lester (assistant costume designer on “Zero Dark Thirty,” “The Hurt Locker”) and Academy Award-winning stunt coordinator/second unit director Mic Rodgers (“Hacksaw Ridge,” “Braveheart”).

Slated for release on January 19, 2018, “12 Strong” will be distributed domestically by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company. Lionsgate is handling international distribution.

Still irrevocably scarred by the trauma he endured as a child at the Overlook, Dan Torrance has fought to find some semblance of peace.  But that peace is shattered when he encounters Abra, a courageous teenager with her own powerful extrasensory gift, known as the “shine.”  Instinctively recognizing that Dan shares her power, Abra has sought him out, desperate for his help against the merciless Rose the Hat and her followers, The True Knot, who feed off the shine of innocents in their quest for immortality.

Forming an unlikely alliance, Dan and Abra engage in a brutal life-or-death battle with Rose.  Abra’s innocence and fearless embrace of her shine compel Dan to call upon his own powers as never before—at once facing his fears and reawakening the ghosts of the past.

Trevor Macy and Jon Berg produced the film, with Roy Lee, Scott Lumpkin, Akiva Goldsman and Kevin McCormick serving as executive producers.

Flanagan’s behind-the-scene creative team was led by director of photography Michael Fimognari (“The Haunting of Hill House”), production designers Maher Ahmad (“Get Hard”) and Elizabeth Boller (“Hush”), and costume designer Terry Anderson (“Den of Thieves”).  The music score is composed by The Newton Brothers (“The Haunting of Hill House”).

We have to say this movie sounds riveting! Anything from Stephen King is definitely going to be a hit!

“The message is loud and clear,” Jeff Fowler tweeted Thursday. “You aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be.”

Fowler, a visual effects artist who’s making his directorial debut with the “Sonic” film, included the hashtag #gottafixfast.

Social media users complained about the CGI look of the titular hero, with the character’s human-style teeth drawing the most flak. Video game blog Kotaku compiled some of the most entertaining reactions.

Fowler did not specify what changes are in store for the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on November 8.

We have to say Sonic’s appearance in the film is lackluster to say the least, we are looking forward to seeing what changes–and we hope they are sweeping–are made! What do you guys think about Sonic and his first movie trailer? Leave your thoughts in the comments’ section below!
