New Line Cinema’s comedy “Life of the Party” stars Melissa McCarthy under the direction of Ben Falcone.

When her husband suddenly dumps her, longtime dedicated housewife Deanna (McCarthy) turns regret into re-set by going back to college…landing in the same class and school as her daughter, who’s not entirely sold on the idea. Plunging headlong into the campus experience, the increasingly outspoken Deanna—now Dee Rock—embraces freedom, fun and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected.

Yang (“Silicon Valley”).

McCarthy and Falcone co-wrote the screenplay and produced through their production company, On the Day. Chris Henchy also produced the film, with Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Michael Disco and David Siegel serving as executive producers.

“The message is loud and clear,” Jeff Fowler tweeted Thursday. “You aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be.”

Fowler, a visual effects artist who’s making his directorial debut with the “Sonic” film, included the hashtag #gottafixfast.

Social media users complained about the CGI look of the titular hero, with the character’s human-style teeth drawing the most flak. Video game blog Kotaku compiled some of the most entertaining reactions.

Fowler did not specify what changes are in store for the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on November 8.

We have to say Sonic’s appearance in the film is lackluster to say the least, we are looking forward to seeing what changes–and we hope they are sweeping–are made! What do you guys think about Sonic and his first movie trailer? Leave your thoughts in the comments’ section below!

us movie opening weekend

Let’s lay out some pretty amazing facts about Us’ $70 million weekend. That is the highest opening ever for an original “R”-rated film. The 11 “R” films to open higher were either sequels or adapted from popular books. Us is also the biggest opening ever for an original live-action film in March and an original horror film in any month. Only It and last year’s Halloween opener higher. But…can it outgross Get Out‘s $176 million?

Us has already doubled Get Out’s $33.4 million opening. A good start indeed. It is the 142nd film to open with $65 million or more. Of those previous 141 films, do you know how many failed to reach the $176 million earned by Get Out? Six. (Fifty Shades of Grey, Halloween 2018, Fast and FuriousQuantum of Solace,X-Men: Apocalypse2012). That is already 95.7% in favor of Us besting Get Out’s total. The number to watch next week when Dumbo knocks Us back to second is whether its second weekend is over or under $28 million.

We are clapping all the way to the bank for Jordan Peele! Yet again, movie trackers are bad at predicting what will be a hit or not. Social media indicated just what a buzz this film had around it, thus we are not surprised! What do you guys think of Us? Sound off in the comments’ section below!
