When it comes to the celebrity power couples in Hollywood, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are top tier. Their relationship, although it has had its pitfalls, has become something to aspire to and somewhat revere. Thus news that Jada initially NEVER wanted to marry Will, instead feeling pressured into a union by her family is surprising. Mrs. Pinkett-Smith revealed the surprising news in a recent interview with New York Daily News.

Pinkett Smith, 47, told People in a new interview that she “never wanted to get married” — but felt pressured into it by her family.

“I had never seen a happy marriage,” she told People, saying she “adored” her partner, but did not want to marry.

Her mother, known as Gammy, called Will crying — which Pinkett Smith said was “infuriating” — and the meddling mom said “You have to get married.”

The couple married on New Year’s Eve in 1997 when Pinkett Smith was in her first trimester of pregnancy with son Jaden, now 20. The pair also share daughter Willow, 18. And Will has a son, Trey, 26, from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino.

Pinkett Smith told People that she’s happy she did get married, but that she and Smith, 50, still do not label themselves as married.

“It’s more of a life partnership … I don’t own him. He doesn’t own me. He has to be his own person first, and vice versa … Love is freedom,” Pinkett Smith told People.

We are glad The Smiths have worked out and are continuing to make each other better people. Kudos to Jada for being so transparent!

According to new legal docs … Cosby’s claims about unfair testimony in the Andrea Constand case were ruled invalid. Cosby felt the testimony from 5 other women was bogus because their allegations were more than 15 years old, and too different from Constand’s allegations.

The appellate court ruled the testimony from the women was warranted because it established Cosby’s “unique sexual assault playbook” … and spells out exactly what it was.

According to the docs … Cosby would target women substantially younger than him, invite them to hang out, get them to trust him because of his celebrity status, ply them with intoxicants and then sexually assault them while they were not fully conscious.

The appellate court ruled the trial court in Cosby’s case did nothing wrong, and the testimony established the disgraced comedian’s predictable pattern of behavior.

The court also rejected additional arguments by Cosby, including his long-held stance that he had a deal with the D.A. not to prosecute him.

We really hate all of this is happening. However, sexual assault is never okay and no one should be above the law when it comes to something this sickening, especially. We love what Bill Cosby once represented and meant to an entire generation and the lives he has affected in positive ways, but it does not dismiss any heinous acts he committed.

Kenya Moore said a while ago that she wants to help families have babies if they struggle with infertility. She’s doing something in this direction, and she became the ambassador for Baby Quest Grants.

She just shared a post on her social media account in which she’s telling her fans and followers how they can help as well. Check it out below.

‘@babyquestgrants is the miracle a lot of families need to have their miracle babies. Not everyone can afford to pay $10,000 to $100,000 for IVF, surrogates, egg harvesting, etc. As an ambassador, I’m personally sponsoring a family hopefully two—-God willing. Please help me help other families,’ Kenya began the caption of her post.

‘Bottom line it costs A LOT of money to battle infertility, and health insurance in America doesn’t pay for assisted reproduction. Please help today. This is a non-profit any amount will help. #givingtuesday #babyquestgrants #ivf #miraclebaby Go to @babyquestgrants now to donate.’ Kenya captioned her post.

We are really glad to see Kenya lending her platform for a great cause. Infertility is an issue that effects millions of couples around the world, and most people cannot afford their own miracle babies. Being a parent is one of life’s greatest joys, this is a really good look on you Kenya!

In a Today interview shared Sunday, the star of this year’s The Lighthouse was asked about taking on the role in the upcoming 2021 Matt Reeves film. When host Willie Geist used the word “superhero” to describe the beloved DC character, Pattinson was quick to politely correct that characterization.

“Batman’s not a superhero,” he said, laughing. “It’s weird. I always balk at it. I’m like, it doesn’t count. You need to have, like, magical powers to be a superhero.”

It is fair to say Batman is not “super” in the sense of having powers, however his training, skills, genius level intellect, and arsenal have made him a powerful rival and sometimes adversary of incredibly powerful superheroes like Superman and Wonder Woman. Saying Batman is not a superhero negates the nigh superhuman abilities of superheroes like Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Nightwing, the Batman Family, and Green Hornet.

What do you all think? Do you consider The Dark Knight a superhero or no? Sound off in the comments section below!
