Porsha Williams & her boyfriend, Dennis McKinley, are expecting their first child together

“When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings. The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who suffered a miscarriage six years ago, reveals to PEOPLE in an interview for the newest issue, out Friday.

“I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomy,” continues Williams, 37. “So just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.”

“Going into the first appointment and being able to see baby and hear baby and know that baby is fine, then I can really wrap my mind around actually becoming a mommy,” she explains, sharing that she would be seeing her little one for the first time later on the same day as the interview.

Having a miscarriage is devastating for any parent, and we definitely understand her pain and reservation. We are hoping and praying that she has a healthy baby and carries them full term with no complications. Things are really looking up for Porsha. Not only are she and her boyfriend, Dennis McKinley, about to be new parents; the eleventh season of RHOA is set to debut this November, and she is still making moves in the hair business and radio/television with her line of weaves and on Dish Nation.

Congrats again Porsha, you deserve it!

Rosie Perez (@rosieperezbklyn) Cast as Renee Montoya in Suicide Squad Spin-Off Movie, “Birds Of Prey!”

The DC Cinematic Univers (DCU) has definitely had its setbacks with less than stellar reviews for many of its films including the Justice League, Batman vs. Superman, and even Suicide Squad. That is not stopping DC from moving forward with a Birds of Prey movie based off the DC Comics superhero team of mostly female operatives that have included the likes of Black Canary, Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), and Huntress. Now, it seems Rosie Perez has been cast in the film as Gotham City cop turned vigilante, Renee Montoya!

Those familiar with Batman comics know that Renee is not only a detective, but a lesbian and love interest for Kate  Kane/Batwoman . She later goes on to become the superhero/vigilante, The Question, as the original holder of the mantle, Vic Sage, dies of cancer. The Question wears a faceless mask and when Renee takes over the helm she gains a ray gun that vaporize just about anything. There is no word on if the film’s version of the character will take on heroism, but we are definitely hoping.

DC seems to be betting on its female heroes a lot more as Wonder Woman is their most, and only, successful film to date. Announcing a Birds of Prey movie after stating both Batgirl and Supergirl films may be in the works is highly progressive. Sometimes the best man for the job is a woman, it seems!

Birds of Prey core team line up; (l-r) Black Canary, Batgirl, Huntress

The cast of DC’s Birds Of Prey movie was already looking pretty good, with Margot Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead playing the Huntress, and Jurnee Smollett-Bell playing Black Canary, but now The Wrap is reporting that they’ll be joined by Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya. In the comics, Montoya spent a few years as a regular Gotham City cop before becoming a vigilante herself as the second incarnation of The Question (who was basically a detective with a cool faceless mask), but we don’t know at this point if Perez’s Montoya has any superheroic aspirations.

What we do know is that the film will sort of be a Harley Quinn-centric Suicide Squad spin-off—but not the Harley Quinn-centric Suicide Squad spin-off—with Robbie’s Harley teaming up with some other female DC characters to stop a big villain. Also thanks to The Wrap, we now know that the big villain is going to be Black Mask, a Gotham-based mobster who wears a black skull mask in the comics. Birds Of Prey will be directed by Cathy Yan, with the script coming from new Batgirl writer Christina Hodson.

Rosie will make an awesome Renee Montoya and we cannot wait to learn more about this film. Charlie’s Angels eat your hearts out!

Will the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever be the same again? The answer is probably not. On screen our favorite Marvel superheroes are still reeling from a grueling defeat dealt to the universe by Thanos and his Infinity Gems, and off screen, earlier this week Captain America actor, Chris Evans, announced he just finished filming his final scenes with Marvel Studios as Captain America!

Chris took to Twitter on Wednesday with the following tweet:

Rumors of Chris’s departure from the iconic role have been circulating for years. Apparently he wants to move on from the superhero genre and get into more roles that will land him an Oscar. We really hate to see him go, but we understand all good things must come to an end eventually. Ryan Reynolds, the actor who plays Deadpool, posted a hilarious tweet and photo to Chris.

Fanbuoy Art went on to post this picture:

Marvel Studios has not announced plans to recast the role, but many suspect Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier actor, Sebastian Stan, may take over the helm. In the comics, Bucky did temporarily assume the mantle of Captain America when he died. Then again, both Falcon and Hawkeye have held the mantle before as well. This all only leads to further speculation that the hero may not make it out of the next Avengers film alive and well.

Honestly, Chris Evans owes us nothing. He was the first Human Torch in the Fantastic Four (2005) movie, and then won our hearts as Cap. We wish him nothing but the best. We do hate he is leaving just as the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to gain the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and all their related characters. We would have definitely loved to see him team up with Wolverine or a new Human Torch!

What do you guys think? Which actor or character would you like to see takeover as Captain America. Sound off in the comments’ section below!

Bill Cosby Sentenced to 3 to 10 Yrs in Prison, Judge Declares Him a “Sexually Violent Predator!”

His Hollywood career and good-guy image in ruins, an 81-year-old Bill Cosby was sentenced Tuesday to three to 10 years behind bars for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman, becoming the first celebrity of the #MeToo era to be sent to prison.

The punishment all but completed the dizzying, late-in-life fall for the comedian, former TV star and breaker of racial barriers.

“It is time for justice. Mr. Cosby, this has all circled back to you. The time has come,” Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill said. He quoted from victim Andrea Constand’s own statement to the court, in which she said Cosby took her “beautiful, young spirit and crushed it.”

Cosby declined the opportunity to address the court before the sentence came down.

The punishment came at the end of a two-day hearing at which the judge declared Cosby a “sexually violent predator” — a modern-day scarlet letter that subjects him to monthly counseling for the rest of his life and requires that neighbors and schools be notified of his whereabouts.

The comic once known as America’s Dad for his role on the top-rated “Cosby Show” in the 1980s was convicted in April of violating Constand, Temple University women’s basketball administrator, at his suburban Philadelphia estate in 2004. It was the first celebrity trial of the #MeToo era.

Cosby faced a sentence of anywhere from probation to 10 years in prison. His lawyers asked for house arrest, saying Cosby — who is legally blind — is too old and vulnerable to do time in prison. Prosecutors asked for five to 10 years behind bars, saying he could still pose a threat to women.

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele rejected the notion that Cosby’s age and infirmity entitle him to mercy. “He was good at hiding this for a long time. Good at suppressing this for a long time. So it’s taken a long time to get there,” Steele said.

The sentencing came as another extraordinary #MeToo drama unfolded on Capitol Hill, where Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh stands accused of sexual misconduct more than three decades ago.

The Cosby case “really raised awareness of the pervasiveness of … sexual misconduct against subordinates and against women of relatively less power,” said Daniel Filler, dean of Drexel University’s law school. “For jurors, I think it’s inherently changed the credibility of the accusers.”

In the years since Constand first went to authorities in 2005, more than 60 women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct, though none of those claims have led to criminal charges.

The judge ruled on Cosby’s “sexually violent predator” status after a psychologist for the state testified that the entertainer appears to have a mental disorder that gives him an uncontrollable urge to have sex with women without their consent. When the ruling came down, a woman in the courtroom shot her fist into the air and whispered, “Yessss!”

Cosby’s legacy has been systematically taken apart as these allegations have mounted. The Cosby Show reruns have been taken off the air indefinitely, colleges have stripped him of his honorary degrees, and much of public opinion is against him thanks in no small part to the #MeToo Movement. Cosby will now be in company with the likes of Harvey Weinstein, NBC’s Matt Lauer, actor Kevin Spacey and Sen. Al Franken.

We do not know how to feel, but somehow we hope the victims in this find some semblance of peace.
